The Haunted House Near Winnebago
Twisted Crypt is about 25 minutes from Winnebago. Head east on US-20 and follow State Street across Rockford to our door on the east side.
Getting here from Winnebago
- Take US-20 east toward Rockford.
- Follow US-20 Business (State Street) through downtown Rockford, where it becomes East State Street.
- Stay on East State Street about 3.5 miles, then turn left on Newtowne Drive. We’re behind Tom & Jerry’s and Uncle Nick’s.
Rather skip downtown? Stay on the US-20 bypass to Alpine Road, go north about 3 miles, then turn right on East State Street.

- Recommended for ages 13 and up. Guests 16 and younger must be with an adult.
- Younger kids? The Crypt Kids Lights On Tour (lights on, candy and small toys, $7 per person) is Saturday, Oct 17, 4–6 PM.
